This project is related to designing an outdoor cafe commissioned by KALLEH Company in the university to provide high-quality Italian ice cream for students.
The concrete base on the campus (to build the Cafe construction on it) was circular and 50 centimetres higher than the ground surface, so the circular shape for the Cafe allowed the optimal use of the space. Concerns about the limited concrete surface prevented the employer from ordering the Dine-in type of café for design as there was a confined space for arranging chairs.
Despite these restrictions, the etudes were presented in two forms: takeaway cafe and dine-in, in which the CEO finally chose the dine-in concept for construction. In the agreed design, the chairs are placed in the farthest possible radius toward the outside, thus providing a suitable place for students to sit inside after ordering ice cream.
