Definition: 24/7 Smart pedestrian sales system has been installed in train stations, shopping centres, and organizations to get an online order of family-food-basket and then give a receipt to the buyer, to be delivered at the pre-arranged time to the customer's home.
This was a multidisciplinary project that consisted of a wide range of cross-functional collaboration between different departments. But the part related to industrial design were as follows:
1- Holding and presenting a 47 inches’ touch monitor on the top of a structure with a proper angle and height to provide convenient access for the users
2- Consisting of two cooler fans, and enough space for a computer case and other related devices
3- Considering accessibility for technicians to repair and maintain the system
4- Attracting unfamiliar people with those new interactive monitors because their minds were set to "Do not touch it" on all previous advertising monitors.
*This system was its first kind in IRAN at that time.
My way of introducing the device to the audience and attracting them was to design it in a sculpture form. Instead of using a stand for the monitor, it was installed inside the body and integrated with it. This device was located in the middle of the environment, and behind it was intended for advertising space. This is now a registered industrial design at the Intellectual Property Centre in the Ministry of Justice.
